Infrastructure and Learning Environment

 
 

 

 The institute is situated opposite to the main building of the University, next to the University Central Library. The lush green ambience of the University spreads over 227 acres of land provides refreshing environment, stimulating intellectual alertness, creativity and a desire for learning.
 

The state of the art infrastructure of the institute has been set up exclusively to enhance the skills of the management students. The spacious 1539 sq.mtrs. built up area of the two storied building includes spacious classrooms, faculty cabins with all office automation requirements, library cum reading hall, conference room, administrative and support facilities, computer  lab and E-Commerce lab.  Each classroom has all modern teaching aids like- OHP, LCD Projector and other audio visual equipments.

 

The library is a one-stop shop of high quality information for the students. Library offers direct access to around  3400 books with an investment of  Rs.20.90  lakhs.  It  subscribes  to  6 dailies  and  57  magazines  and  two corporate data bases with an annual subscription of more than Rs.2.25 lakhs. The data bases subscribed are PROWESS designed by CMIE, Mumbai and CAPITALINE-2000 designed by Capital Market India(P) Ltd. The institute has a rich collection of 196 video cassettes and 130 CDs related to different topics of management.  Computerization of the library is in progress.

  
The school is equipped with two HP Pentium-4 servers and  25 terminals dedicated to students'  use. All the computers are networked. The regular computer lab is networked with NOVELL. The institute has a dedicated  64 KBPS Lease line for twenty four hour use of Internet facility in its E-Commerce lab. The Lab is networked with HP- LINUX server with latest Pentium 4 based machines. The students are free to use this modern information super highway.
